Delaney Timlin – Dance Instructor
Meet Delaney Timlin! She is an artist and educator from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She trained for 17 years at Sandra’s School of Dance, in all styles, including acrobatics, multiple styles of ballroom, and contemporary. During that time, she earned multiple national team titles as team leader, performed and volunteered locally, and discovered a passion for teaching children through movement. She’s taught a variety of styles and age groups, including adaptive dance and gymnastics classes for students with special needs. Her love for dance has always been deeply tied to building confidence, creativity, and community.
She recently earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University, where she also continued to pursue dance academically and artistically. She performed in university productions, attended the ACDA in 2022, and had the opportunity to work with tap artist Jason Samuels Smith. After stepping away from formal dance training in 2023 to focus on other studies, she felt like a core part of herself was missing. That realization led her to Aerial Atmosphere and Flatlands Dance Theatre in Lubbock, where she reconnected with movement and rediscovered the joy and grounding dance gives.
She is thrilled and incredibly grateful to be joining this company—to grow, teach, and share her passion for movement with young dancers.
