Claire Lacy – Dance Instructor
Claire Dacy is a dancer and dance instructor from Fort Worth, Texas. She began dancing at the age of 12 at Trinity Valley School, where she trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. During that time, she competed at conventions and competitions such as Tremaine, Showbiz, Imagine, and Legacy. She also assisted the Petite and Junior Companies at Trinity Valley.
She continued her training at Texas Tech University, where she graduated with her BFA in Dance in May 2025. While at Texas Tech, Claire was a member of the improvisation group Collective Action and performed at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) regional conferences in 2022 and 2025, as well as the ACDA National Conference in Washington, D.C. in 2025. She also had the opportunity to work with guest artists including KK Harris, Jamy Meek, Helanius J. Wilkins, and Kelli Forman while at Texas Tech.
In addition to her education at TTU, Claire attended the School of American Ballet Teacher Training Workshop in 2024, where she learned from faculty member Katrina Killian. She also attended the Wood | Works Winter Intensive with Bruce Wood Dance Dallas in 2025.
Claire has worked alongside other BFA students with J’Adore Dance Intensive and is passionate about sharing her love for dance while continuing to grow as both an artist and educator.
