My name is Ryanne Lewis and I am from Odessa, Texas. I have been dancing for 16 years at Dance Connection Studio in Odessa, Texas, where I studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and pointe. At 16, I became an instructor teaching ballet, tap, and hip hop to classes that ranged from the ages of 5 to 17. My first year in high school, I made the Varsity dance team at Odessa High School. My junior year I auditioned to be officer and received the position of Co-Caption. All through high school I competed team dances in jazz, hip hop, and contemporary, I also competed solos in jazz and contemporary. As officer, I was responsible for choreographing team dances and also competing in additional officer routines at Nationals. I have also had the opportunities to study dance in Las Angeles, California, with many professional dancers at EDGE Performing Arts center, Millennium, and Disneyland. After I graduated I still continued dancing. I got accepted to Texas Tech University where I am a double majoring in Kinesiology and Dance.
