Josh Vanegas will be choreographing for Revolution Dance Elite this fall. Josh is 22 years old from Donna, Texas. He began his dance training at the age of 15 and has continued to further his education since. He competed as a soloist and a team member, for his high school drill team. He earned and was awarded, by several companies, many regional and national titles in both categories.

After high school he began to pursue his Dance Education degree at the University Of Texas Pan American, and was also invited to be a part of the ShowTime International staff. Josh later started working for Edson Juarez as a dance instructor at Valley Cheer/Dance Elite.

His students have competed in many all star competitions and have received a numerous amount of local and national titles under his instruction. While teaching at Valley Dance Elite Josh also became a team member of a Worlds qualifying team. He is a member of the Open Co-Ed Hip Hop team, Hot Mess. He has won several local and national titles with this team. They have been qualified and were awarded paid bids to compete in The Dance Worlds for the past two years. On their first appearance they obtained the bronze medal in the All Male division finals. The next year Hot Mess earned the silver medal in the USA Worlds Trial, and a qualification to compete and represent the USA against the world.

This past spring Josh and his team ranked 5th out of 42 qualifying teams in the world. Josh continues to teach and choreograph for local schools and the all star studio. He also choreographs camp material and is a part of the ShowTime International contest staff. He has the great privilege of working for and dancing alongside Edson Juarez from the hit dance show, So You Think You Can Dance. Josh Vanegas is an award winning soloist, choreographer and performer.
