My name is Bella Bennett and I am from Lubbock, Texas. This fall, I will begin my sophomore year at Texas Tech University, where I will be a BFA – Dance Major. I began dancing and tumbling at the age of three, at Talent Plus Dance and Gymnastics, and trained there until 2015. During this time, I attended many dance competitions such as Talent on Parade Nationals, where I won 1st in my age group along with multiple scholarships, and the Dance Masters of America, where I held multiple titles and traveled to their national competitions. I then began dancing at Ballet Lubbock where I performed in their productions of The Nutcracker, Snow White, and many more. I went to Joffery summer intensives in Dallas, California, and New Mexico in the years 2015-2019, where I trained for multiple weeks with many well-known choreographers. I was part of the Frenship High School Varsity Pom Squad, where I was the captain my senior year. During my time on FHS Pom, I won first place at Crowd Pleasers Dance in 2019 and 2021. I began dancing at Revolution Elite Dance in 2017 and became part of the competition team in 2018. During my time on the RED Elites, the team and I, traveled throughout Texas, competing, and receiving many awards. I am so excited to be a second-year member of the Texas Tech Pom Squad. During my first year on the Texas Tech Pom Squad, we competed at the UDA National competition as well as the ICU International competition, where we achieved first place as the US National Team in Jazz. I can’t wait to continue my journey at Revolution Elite Dance, and work with the talented dancers and staff!
